NO ONE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD is going to love you the way you can. Don’t look for validation in man because we will ALWAYS let each other down. People have their own lives, their agendas, their own desires, etc. and while they may genuinely love you, their ideas, methods or examples of showing that love may be totally different from you.
Rejection is hard. I'm pretty sure everyone in the world either has or will at some point have to face it. It's not fun, it can often leave us feeling unwanted, undesirable and make us question whether or not we're "good enough"
We create different ways in our own minds of how something should happen, when it should happen and whether or not people are there when it happens and if so, we try to imagine who would be there and how they'd react. We throw ourselves off because we believe that there's only one right way for a blessing to come.
There’s an old saying that goes like this, “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.” Although the intent behind this rhyme may have been to encourage kids to be optimistic and not allow negative words to affect them, I believe that rather than teaching not to listen to negative words, children should have been taught not to speak them. Words are powerful and hearts are fragile. We must protect ourselves and others from the death of negative words.
